Coach Yo, Coach Perry, Coach Schlager, Coach Jahnke, Coach Miller
Varsity Coach Laura Miller is in her fifth year as a physical education teacher at North Platte High School. Coach Miller is starting her fourth year as head volleyball coach at NPHS. Prior to that, she was the junior varsity coach for two years, under two-year coach, Amanda Miller who became engaged and moved to Colorado.
Before that she was the freshman volleyball coach for thirteen years, and coached at the seventh-grade level for three years, under her high school volleyball coach, Linda Carlson.
Coach Carlson led the lady bulldogs for thirty-three years before retiring. When Coach Miller isn't involved with volleyball she enjoys spending time with her family, her husband Lyle for the past 30 years,
her son Matthew, his wife Megan and her 3 year old granddaughter McKenna, living in Omaha, her son Adam, a police officer in North Platte
and her daughter Melissa, Andrew & granddaughter Ryleigh living in Lincoln.
Junior Varsity Coach Brian Jahnke is in his thirteenth year of teaching Adaptive Physical Education at North Platte Public Schools. He is currently starting his second year as one of the freshman volleyball coaches. Coach
Jahnke has also coached volleyball at the Middle School level for ten years. Mr. Jahnke has been married to his wife Natalie for eighteen years. They have three children; Natasha a junior at NPHS, Breigh Ana
an eighth grader and Landon a fifth grader.
